4 Ways to Pay for Alcohol Rehabilitation

June 13th, 2011

When you are choosing to stop drinking, you are doing yourself and your friends & family a huge favor. Alcohol rehabilitation is not free though, so you will also have to decide how you are going to pay for the treatment. There are 4 ways to pay for alcohol rehabilitation that are commonly used including the following:

Health Insurance

If you have health insurance, there is a really good chance that alcohol rehab will be covered, at least in part, by your plan. There are forty states that actually require health plans to cover alcohol rehabilitation in which they must meet legal limits of coverage to ensure people can get treatment for such problems without a lot of out of pocket expenses. There may be limitations that you need to be aware of in order to make the most of your health insurance when seeking alcohol treatment, so be sure to call and speak to someone directly to get all of the details pertaining to what your plan will pay out. There may even be specific treatment centers that are affiliated with your insurance company, so ask for recommendations on treatment centers that they work with to help the process go more smoothly.

Self-Payment

When you have the means to pay for alcohol treatment on your own, you are one of the most fortunate – especially if you do not have health insurance. When looking at pricing, remember that cheapest is not always the best choice. You should call the different alcohol rehabilitation centers you are interested in going to and find out as much as you can about them and what they charge. Ask about their treatment methods, their in-patient and out-patient programs, follow-up support when treatment is over, and what is included in their rates.

Help from Family & Friends

Sometimes when health insurance or self-payment is not an option, seeking help from family and/or friends to pay for alcohol rehabilitation is a good alternative. Whether its one person or many people that can help out, every little bit helps. Don’t be afraid to ask for their help, as many of them will probably be more than happy to do so in order for you to get the treatment you need to stop drinking and get your life in order.

Payment Plans/Arrangements

Some alcohol rehabilitation centers may offer payment arrangements to help you with the affordability aspect of seeking treatment. Call and ask the treatment centers that you are interested in about payment plans which could help you get into alcohol rehab more quickly and allow you to pay as you go, whether the payments are weekly or monthly.

However you choose to pay, getting into treatment is the most important thing. Try not to be discouraged if one form of payment does not work out, as you do have alternatives.

Drug Rehab in Ohio

January 14th, 2010

As drug abuse becomes more of a serious problem to society, more drug rehab centers are being established. The problem of drug abuse is known to affect people off all ages, ethnicities and sexes. Although the majority of these people are in the teenage age bracket. These teenagers are the most common offenders as they find it hard to understand that the consumption of drugs or alcohol can cause negative affects, and many believe it is a victim-less crime. Drug abuse is not only known to ruin ones life, but has also been linked to violent crimes such as assault, murder, rape and robbery. Drug abuse is a serious topic and is of concern to governments and other non-profit organizations. They are trying their best to resolve the issue, and warn users that even if they have depression or anxiety, drugs are not the answer.

It should be noted that these organizations are not having much success and in my opinion the solution to drug abuse lies in prevention at the root cause of the problem. This means that parents and guardians need to observer their teenagers to ensure they are not undertaking in drug or alcohol abuse. If you have any reason to be  suspicious over the changed behavior of a family member there are some symptoms you can look out for.  Examples of physical symptoms include: redness in eyes, nagging cough, change in eating habits and a change in sleeping habits.

If you notice any such changes in your child or other family member it is important to take help from drug rehabilitation centers in Ohio. With the rise in drug abuse we are witnessing in the US, Ohio has begun to setup many rehab centers to treat people with addictions in an attempt to save their lives. Ohio drug rehab centers have many alternative programs available to cure the addiction to drugs in teens or adults. The main objective of drug rehab centers in Ohio is to help teens/adults overcome their addictions. These Drug rehabs have specialized teams of licensed counselors, psychiatrists, psychologists and other professionals to help people with their addictions.

In Ohio different rehab centers take different approaches to overcoming drug addictions so it is important to discuss your case with them to find the best solution for you. Some of the different approaches they take may include the holistic treatment approach, the disease driven approach, and the drug detoxify approach. That discussion you have with an Ohio drug rehab center just might find the right approach for you and could lead to tremendous results in addiction treatment.

Ohio is also known to offer drug rehabilitation programs to those with different sexual orientations including: gay, lesbian and bisexual people. So far the progress Ohio is making towards drug abuse treatment is tremendous, however there is still need for reform to address improvement in public health.

Christian Drug Rehabilitation

January 14th, 2010

One dreaded practice which has been gaining momentum in the United States over the past decade is the use of illegal drugs. It is a big business in America which is putting the lives of the  users into disarray. Perhaps the most worrying statistic is that, the average age of the people using these drugs is 14 to 21, meaning that the practice itself is directly affecting the future of the world – our youth. The use of drugs by youth is not the only problem, more and more sports persons are beginning to take various types of drugs to enhance their strength, agility and stamina. Although there has been an attempt to kill the drug business by the government through the enactment of stricter laws, the drug business is actually as string as ever. Whether someone takes drugs for the thrill, for the benefits it may give them, or simply to fit in with their peers, the fact of the matter is that drug use is dangerous. Once people start using these drugs they often fall into a lifetime of addiction which can be difficult to cure and often leads to death in the form of drug overdose. Fortunately there are ways to stop the deadly cycle, one of these being in the form of Christian drug rehabilitation institutions.

These Christian drug rehabilitation organizations aim to help drug users fight the addiction head on and get their lives back on track. The main purpose of these centers is to follow a service motto which in turn is able to help cure the patients of any drug addiction they may have. The first step is to ensure the patients have absolutely no access to any illegal drugs, this is done through tough security measures (which could include the refusal of visitors for at-risk patients). Then as time passes and after the patients have gone through the withdrawal process, the institution is then able to offer various forms of  psychological treatments which ultimately aim to stop people from ever going back to drug use.

Patients in the institutions are told about the ill effects drugs can have on them, and examples are given to illustrate how drugs could ruin their lives if they continue using them. Once they see this they may also start to realize what they have gone through themselves and what they have lost in their own lives. Examples of approaches used by  Institutions to help people out of their addictions are the client centered approach and the psychoanalytic approach. It is for these reasons that the Christian drug rehabilitation institutions are doing a commendable hob and should be praised for the great effort they are putting into curing people with drug additions.

TreatmentUSA and HalfwayHouseUSA nearing 1000 unique visitors daily

July 17th, 2009

Just wanted to let everyone know that it looks like we are on the right track for our mission to help as many people as possible. Each day we are getting closer to 1000 unique visitors. Currently I am seeing on the stats that there are just shy of 900 people each day.

I still believe this is largely due to the fact that we are keeping everything as simple as possible for the end user to navigate. One of the only major differences that we have in statistics to the leaders in this arena is our pages per visit are very low. Quite honestly, that is absolutely fine with me! On average, our visitors are only looking at about 2 pages per visit. Guess what?!? That is how the site was designed!!!! If you read our motto on our logo it states: Find the help you need now!

So, rather than sifting through multiple pages and/or popup ads, Treatment USA is as simple as clicking on the State you want and voila! You’re there!

I am seeing a tremendous amount of people looking for rehab or detox for meth this week. This is great news! I have been leaning a little of my organic optimization towards the meth addicts (maybe it’s because I am a recovering meth addict myself…….) I know how difficult it can be to be tweaked out and looking for a way out or a way to get help with detox and/or treatment for crystal – believe me. If you have read my story anywhere, then you know that I was looking for help online for 8 days while smoking crystal meth in my bathroom.

Anyway, I hope that you can join us in this blessed journey to helping people find the help they need now!

Cocaine Addicts, Heroin Addicts, Pain pill addicts, benzo addicts, alcoholics, dual-diagnosis, eating disorders and all food addictions, meth addicts, pot addicts, ecstasy addicts – yeah – we are all one in the same. We were just looking for a way out. Now it is possible to find detox, treatment, rehab, inpatient, outpatient, sober living halfway houses, and 12 step meetings.

Thank you for your continued support of www.TreatmentUSA.com and www.HalfwayHouseUSA.com and www.EDRehabs.com

Don’t forget – if you know someone who is in need of help for their adolescent teen, be sure to visit www.TeenTreatmentUSA.com
